In the Ryukyu Glass Village, under the project "OKINAWA RAINBOW STREET", colorful decoration is decorated with Ryukyu glass structures.
It is thought that this project has succeeded in creating a sense of unity throughout the Ryukyu Glass Village.
Specifically, there are wall decorations made of Ryukyu glass, windows, ceilings, and objects as shown in the photo.
In addition, everything from chairs, light bulbs to flowers in vases was made of Ryukyu glass.
The restrooms in the shopping center were also decorated with Ryukyu glass, so I felt that they were paying attention to details.

Interpretation linkage

In the shopping facility of the > Ryukyu Glass Village, there was a booth that introduced the history of Ryukyu glass and master craftsmen as well as an exhibition of Ryukyu glass structures.
Also, there was a commentary on the existence of Ryukyu glass from the Meiji period to the pre-war period and the formation of Ryukyu Glass Village.
As a result, I was able to enjoy Ryukyu glass as if I were looking at it in a museum.

In addition, at the recycling booth, there was a commentary on Ryukyu glass's products and the relationship between recycling.
I felt that it was a wonderful initiative that was not just about selling products.

The photo on the left is Chura Chari ,which provides an electric assisted bicycle rental service.
From Chatan in the central part to Itoman in the south, there is a base, and it is a service that tourists can easily come and go even in Okinawa Prefecture, which is a car society.
Ryukyu Glass Village is also one of the bases.

The photo on the right is of the "Ito-chan mini" that provides a pick-up service to major facilities and places in Itoman City.
It takes about 30 minutes to pick you up, but with a single phone call, they will pick you up at your current location and send you to your destination.
It is convenient because it can be used by making a reservation in advance.

As introduced in the basic information of Ryukyu Glass Village, it is formed from many facilities such as shopping facilities, experience facilities, cafes, etc.
It is thought that the fact that it is a complex facility plays the role of attracting customers as a tourist destination.
